When you manufacturer a 2-1/2"x 3-1/2" piece of cardboard commodity that is somehow supposed to be collectible, you have limited options to work with. Trading card manufacturers have tried numerous gimmicks and innovations to add creativity to the basic trading card. In the mid-2000's Topps came up with the idea of "uncirculated" cards. So what is an uncirculated card? Quite simple it is card that has been encapsulated in a plastic snap tight and sealed with a tamper-resistant label.
